Default Wire under the passenger seat

I've found this wire coming out under the passenger seat. What might it be?

Prior owner added something - and not particularly well - clearly there's a splice of wires visible.
Is that some sort of connector at the end? Follow the wires as Lion said and remove.

Yep.

Unlike the factory zip ties, there is no part number for Mopar duct tape. I've looked.

However, there are supposed to be a wires under the seat for the seat belt sensor and maybe a side airbag. Some PT's also have a plug under the driver's seat for an underseat CD changer. It's possible this wire is for some after market amp or other audio accessories added by a previous owner.

The good advice here has already been given. Just follow the wire and see where it goes.

Personally as for the unidentified wire group I would first determine if it is live or switched first. This may save creating other electrical mishaps or problems.

Or it could be for heated seats. Some PTs in Europe came with both driver and passenger heated seats. Mine never got it Just the seat hight adjuster.
