Default Fuel Filler cap drain.

Hi all, I've got a build-up of rainwater inside my filler cap (see pic). I cannot seem to find a drain hole and cannot find any reference to one in the Haynes manual. I'm having to syphon it off with a straw Cheers for any help. Phil

^ Good question. Not sure where it is myself? Whenever I wash the PT I always wash this area and hose it out. Than towel dry inside the are you pictured?

You might also think about doing a good cleaning in that are with the fuel cap removed before you get a mas evap. DTC? I can see around the edge of the fuel cap dried fuel build up.

A couple members here on the forum like Danny aka busted_pt are body work magicians and I am sure if we rattle them with a "hey" they will chime in and have an answer?

May be other drains where the cup meets the outer panel. I would suggest to cap off tightly and pressure wash the area. Should dislodge only dabres from all drains. If there are any more.
