xenon air dam.....mild front

well after a year....finally had it painted
and ready to put on.....

now here's my questions.....

1.do I need to put more 3m tape than provided
and more screws than the eight they included?

2.granted it's underneath...do I need to try
to take off the wax and use a some type of
adhesive promoter?

any experiences with front air dams?
