I didn't like the blue tint of the Sylvania SilverStar bulbs I bought, so I looked and found some cheap chrome 3157 turn signal bulbs on Ebay.
They came today, looked OK, but when I tried them on the car, they put out so little light that I don't think they'd be safe to use. I will put up with the blue tint. At least you can see them when they flash, and they do still look better than the original ambers. |

Bob,
I have the chrome covered bulbs from Auto Barn... http://www.autobarn.net/pivachbu.html I thought they didn't shine as bright as the original amber bulbs and started giving hand signals to make sure the people in back knew I was turning, but I did that with some guys I knew who were fillowing me and they asked why. I told them I didn't think they could see the turn signal and they said it was fine. So now I just use the blinker.
