Well ive had a pile of mods ive done to the cruiser in the past few months. I just wanted everyone to see them and let me know what you think.
Also let me know if all the pics work.

Last But Not Least
I just yesterday, installed a [u]SPEC Stage 2 Modular Clutch and Flywheel Kit. I have yet to beat on it, but thus far with 250 miles on it, i love it. Perfect engagement that is smoothe and feels seamless between shifts. Not all that heavy of a clutch but good to 400 horsepower and noticably firmer than stock but perfect and manageable in heavy trafic. Over all i would sofar say this is a good upgrade. The job wasnt all that bad either. Here are a few pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I got a set of lowering springs in my storage unit. I will have to put them on next year for sure now after seeing yours.

Also my clutch just got past break in period and i did a couple dragh launches and quick shifts and it holds like i couldnt even imagine. it will definetly spin the tires right off because now the clutch is holding well, as opposed to the old clutch. [8)] Over all im happy beyond belief with my car now. I just need a little more power. [?][:X]

CruiserDan,
Your PT looks sweet! I love the lowered PT and can't wait to have mine done! Question #1: What brand of paint did you use for the foglights, and is there any guaranty that it won't peel or crackle from the heat of the lights? Question #2: Did you install the new clutch yourself? Thanks,

The foglights i just used KRYLON stained glass paint from a hobby store, its the yellow color. I used the same type of paint just red for my tail lights. Ive had it on for nearly 6 months its not cracking but the problem is i didnt use clear coat on them so the paint will wear away back to the plactic. It's not hard to fix they just need to be painted again. Acetone takes the paint off pretty easily for a new paint job. But it could be remidied with some clear coat. The hartest part of that job was getting around the inner fender to get the lights out. I have to take them out and re install them anyways because my bumper doesnt line up with the lights after the body shop took it off. If you want a more permenant guarantee there are companies floating around that sell yellow film that you put on the lense like it was window tint. Personally i like my look better. But i also have contemplated taking the lense off and painting the inside yellow so it wouldnt weather. The clutch , i did it with my friend in his garage on a set of jack stands. Im an automechanics student and have worked in shops before so this isnt my 1st clutch job , but honestly it wasnt that hard. The hardest thing was droppin the tranny out ,and putting it back in when the clutch was installed. The only things u really have to do are disconnect shift linkage the slave cylinder and starter the battery and battery tray the distrobution block has to be moved and then bell housing bolts loosened after the engine is supportted then the tranny mount. I love the new clutch and it was worth the money and more. If you have any more questions , i would be happy to answer.
