Default silicon wiper blades?

Has anyone purchased these wiper blades and are they worth the money as opposed to a new refilL ($2.88@) every 6 months and a clean windhield?[:I]

I use the Boush blades. Costs about 11.00 - 12.00 each. About 10.00 for the rear one. I get great performance out oe them.

Have the same wipers on since August of 2000 when I picked it up. Is that some sort of record?

I just don't have to use them that often so I guess that's why they're still the OEM blades.

I just installed a set. The early verdict is that they are great, but that might just be in comparison to the old worn wiper blades. They do seem to work perfectly, but I'll have to see how they wear.

Looking for new blades for next winter! I gues silicone is the new product I need to try. I guess new blades every 4 years is not bad. Of course, I could just turn my car in and avoid that expense and pick up an new 2007 Cruiser. [8)]

I have always heard that worn out wiper blades are a good reason to buy a new car. Works for me epecially if it is a new PT.

I was replacing mine every few months (at least twice a year) while I lived in VA and always wondered if they'd be worth the money....Now I wonder (still) becasue I moved to AZ and really don't use them at all, but would they hold up to the dry weather longer?

As a whole, silicone rubber will withstand more UV for a longer time than regular vulcanised rubber blades, wheather you use them or not.[^]
