Powering Tailgate Door
Has anyone investigated the possiblity of adding a linear accuator or similar device to power the tailgate.

I wouldn't think it would be that hard to do. Even the Chrysler Town & Country van has an automatic lifted tailgate. So with a little $$$ and ingenuity, the PT could have one too.
