Default New Bumber

My front bumper is starting to get a bit ugly. I'm contemplating buying a replacement and having it painted. Anyone done this? How much can I expect to pay for the bumper and the painting?

Do you have the non-painted black bumpers? If so, a good body shop should be able to smooth them out, use the correct techniques and paint them body color for about $300.

I have a painted bumper. Just got it back from the dealer after 2.5 weeks (very long story) They had problems with it and it broke down on a test drive. They had it towed back. The towing boogered the bumper in two spots, which they said they'd fix, but I'm thinking now might be the time to just have it replaced with a fresh one if it's not too much money.

Well I called a few places. Two gave me quotes over the phone. Of these two the cheapest was $700 provided I put the bumper on myself. That shop suggested I might try to purchase the bumper on my own to save some money, but I don't have any idea how to do that. I have a billet grille and really want to have an OEM bumper so I can keep it.

Hi, you can keep your billet grille with an aftermarket bumper too (at least the upper section).

I found my chrome, front bumper on eBay! The price, was less than having it painted!
