Default New underhood mod

Just added a hand made underhood polished stainless steel piece that takes the place of the blanket.

Boy that looks excellent![?] Does it get hot? Did you make it yourself? I could ask a few more but you get the drift. Tell us more about it. Again, that is nice.[?]

Sorry guys, have had so many questions from other forums that I didn't get back here to see yours. Here's a closer look at the underhood stainless steel piece.

It was hand made by American Car Craft here in Springhill, Florida. It's just a small operation and each piece is hand made one at a time. I paid 186.00 including installation and tax. Does it get hot...does everything under the hood get hot..YEP! I got the name and number from a fellow PTer here in Florida and he's had it on for about 6 weeks and it still looks OK. I called the place and the owner/fabricator will sell them by mail. The owner is: Ricardo (Rick) Rivera and the number is (352)684-1858 it weights about 3-4 lbs and is held on by screws, glue and double sided tape. He also shortens the rubber washer hoses and ran them down closer to where they attach.
