I'm trying to buy a rear rollpan, but I'm confused about what you get when you order. On the PT Teazer website, it says Teardrop shaped back-up light lens openings incorporate original factory back-up lights. I contact Bob from Cal Cruisers, and he told me that if reverse light are cutout, and if re-wiring hardware is included , add $100 to the order... Has anyone bought the PT Teazer rollpan? If so... from who, how much, and did it come with reverse lite cutouts & re-wiring hardware? This is what Bob at Cal Cruisers price quoted me: retail $499. Special $450. Paint $250. Freight free this week! - total painted and shipped w/o lights shipped to you.....$700. - if reverse light are cutout, and if re-wiring hardware is included, add $100 for back-up lights instaled and prewired.... - order this week and we can ship this deal within 5 days upson it's way to you! Thanks for any info. |

My wife saw the roll pan look in the entries to the PTE Calendar contest and loved the look! Just can't spring for it now after installing a new hood, but I think she may put it on the "to do"list for the upcoming year!

Have you considered the greater amount of damage to your PTC if someone rear-ends you with the roll-pan setup? Also the increased possibility of damage to the occupants! I love my Zenon front and rear covers!
Cruiserjim: 5 speed black Limited; ABS/4-whl discs; 17" wheels/tires; Progress sway bars and strut tower brace; H&R springs; Xenon covers fr/rr; Bassani duals; home-made intake mod; lots of other goodies! |

I would not buy toilet paper for my dog's arse from Cal cruisers. If you want to have a migraine headache forever just buy something from them. Can't say it any nicer they just Suche. Worst everything. They NEVER tell the truth, wouldn't know if it hit blind side!
Good luck, Joel

I got a PTeaser "retro rollpan" from Maggie at Race and Street. Her price couldn't be beat and the look and quality of PTeazer stuff is top notch. The rollpan comes with a reinforcement bar that is supposed to be about equal to the original one, so there is some protection not just a piece of plastic. As said before the back up lights are mounted behind the rollpan giving a frenched in look and you can use the stock lights or after market ones. The rollpan comes with blockouts for single or dual exhausts that are cut out for your particular situation. I have seen some rollpans where the exhaust was terminated and curved down behind the rollpan with no cutouts leaving a really smooth look to the rear end of the car. I think that with the rollpan the line of the trunk flows to a smooth termination way more gracefully than the stock bumper allows.
As far as California Cruisers, I have never used them but I have heard nothing good about them either. On the other hand Maggie at Race and Street always gets thumbs up. Your choice, good luck! |

Don't know much about rollpans (I prefer the stock bumpers). but I've gotta agree with dice and kmp60: California Cruisers = MASSIVE HEADACHES, Maggie at Race & Street = GREAT PEOPLE & GREAT SERVICE!
Cal Cruisers is ONLY useable if you literally walk into their showroom: mail, phone, or web, you'll just get burnt.
