Hi Everyone,
This is my first post but I've been lurking and soaking up all the extensive cruiser knowledge! Has anyone tried the carbon fiber pillar trim I'm seeing on ebay? I really feel like that area needs some help but I'm afraid of going overboard with the chrome since I will be adding door spears and the 06 lower grill trim from Race and Street shortly. I would love some input and or pictures would be great! Oh, I will also be adding the square portholes but I want to wait till I make my decision on the pillar trim because that will help me make up my mind if I want the silver or black mesh. So many choices for just one little cruiser, but she'll be stylin!

Michelle.
WELCOME to the forum. A lot of owners have covered the door pillars. I didn't because I wanted the black tinted windows and pillars to be all in one. You won't be overdoing it with chrome as the door spear and door handles and front grill are far enough away from each other not to blend in. Carbon Fiber is one way of covering them up, but to me, CF is so dark, you'll be the only one that notices it. As you said, there loads of choices and you being new probably haven't seen half of the PT Cruiser custom sites that are on the web selling everything imaginable for our car. I have 45 sites saved in my "Bookmarks" for just PT Cruiser accessories and there's plenty I didn't save.

Hmmmm, you make a good point. It would be cheaper to go chrome, by the way I forgot to mention that I was going to do the silver carbon fiber trim not the black. I love your cruiser! I wish I could tint my windows like yours but I live in California and it's a no no here. Thanks again for your input!
