Fog Light Fuse

Hi Im new to the forum. I just bought a 2001 PT Cruiser this week and I noticed that the Fog light doesnt turn on so I check the fuse and it was surpose to be #8 but there was no fuse in there so I found the fuse in the glove conpartment and I put it in and automatically the light came on, only thing is is that the only way I can turn to Fog lights off now is to take the fuse out. Any idea what could be wrong is it my steering wheel?

Whoever had the PT before you knew that the multifunction switch had failed and pulled the fuse. There's a part inside the switch that has burnt that causes the fog lights to stay on. There's no way to fix it other than to replace the stalk either from the dealer, eBay or parts yard. It's pretty simple to replace the stalk when you get the new one.
