The wires for the foglights were already hooked up to the fuse box =)

Thought I would check and share on that one.

The final result (yet to be activated)

So, you found out all the wiring was in place already, and you only had to buy and install the lights? Is that correct?

You're making me want to disassemble my own fuse box to see if I've got wiring too. Hm...

Wait a minute. Even if the wires are there up to the fuse box, are they already there up to the non-foglight multifunction switch? I don't think it's going to be as easy as you think.

Can anyone confirm the wires from the fuse box up to the steering column just waiting for a new multifunction switch?

It is. At least for the 2007. I believe for the 2006, you have to actually use the directions and plug in the supplied harness yourself to the fuse box. But when I went to find mine, the harness pigtail was already waiting for me, ready to plug in.

For ALL 2006+ however, the wiring from the CANBUS computer to the multifunction stalk is 100% prewired.

Once the new multifunction stalk and fog lights are installed, all that is left is taking it to the dealership to have foglights activated via the CANBUS. It's deep in the option menus of the dealership's CANBUS programmers.

And you may want to look at getting some Silverstars for the fog lights. The supplied bulbs are pretty yellowish. Unfortunately, there weren't Silverstar Ultras available to match my headlights, but the regular Silverstars are still alot whiter than the supplied bulbs.

You nailed it! (lakers)

Dealership said that it will cost me 107$ to have them activated however I will run the warranty excuse on them.

You need the multifunction fog light switch and fog lights to make the whole thing work. (As lakers mentioned)

If you need any directions let me know as I have the Mopar manual. (Lomara)

I have silver stars in my headlights btw so I plan the same for the fogs once activated. (lakers)

My dealer did it for free without it actually going into the service bay. Service Mgr sent a tech out to my car with a scanner, and had it activated in 5 minutes. It's ridiculous that dealerships try raping people like that. Even if you wanted to charge shop rates with a 1/2 hour minimum .... that'd still only be $35-$50. Dealer might as well kick you in the nuts and steal your wallet. Go to another dealership.

There's always this.
Remember to detach it before taking off though.
