New 2007 PT Cruiser owner looking for exterior suggestions

Alright well I guess im joining the crowd. So are there any trim sets for the 06-07 headlights that are not chrome based?

The carbon fiber tails should look OK, and should fit as the tail light size didn't change in the 06 remodel. But the most glaring deficiency of your car is WHEELS if your goal is to blacken things out.

Personally, I think the stock headlights look great. Especially if you throw in some Silverstar bulbs, it looks great. Just did mine last week. It's pimping. I think those smoked front lenses look ghetto on any car. It's something you do to an old car to freshen the look up, not something you do to a brand new car.

I also think those sun visors look gay. Likesomething a grandpa would put on his ride. I like the retro look of the PT Cruiser, but somethings are better left retro ....... permanently.

Heh thanks for your honest opinion. I am actually going with the Bermuda Black LED tail lights since they are made for my year and safety never hurts.

Rims I have yet to even think about because with my current cash I could only get new rims same size and all.

Yeah I don't dislike the stock headlights just like to know what my options are. Hence why im trying to look for a good black trim set. Not looking for smoked because that would cover the whole thing and my objective is not to cancel out the lights heh. I had to replace the headlights on my mustang because the original ones were turning yellow and for personal preference.

Im still not completely sold on the sun visor hence why I am going for tail lights first. We had a chrome one on our 1989 Ford 1 ton dually and it looked great on it. But for the same reason why we don't have one on our current truck is because it will disrupt the flow (in terms of look).

I think it would fit. The Vert is the only one that needs a special gas door because of the curve over the rear wheel. Don't think they changed anything on the door for the 07-08 4 door PT's.

Got these from Custom Floor Mats, Custom Grilles & More - U.S. SPEED

Ordered them on Friday and did second day air and they just came in around 12:40 PM. I was expecting them tomorrow so im pretty happy ^_^

I will install them later today.

Don't rice it out like some of those ccrraazzyy cars out there...
( And I do not mean any PTs, I mean like those kids who drive by in those strange looking civics that have multi colored parts from other cars, coffee can exhausts and the huge fly away wing w/ stickers all over and stick on hood scoops in multi colors...lol you got my point )
