Don't spend a whole lot on ricer, cheap do-dads.

The SINGLE BIGGEST bang-for-your-buck improvement you can make on ANY car, but especially the PT, are:

- stance
- wheels/tires

i.e. lower it (you can find springs for the cost of all those do-dads).

i.e. get some rims. Minimum 17s.

Hey, wanna buy my chrome 17" OEM GT rims/tires w/<40 miles on them?

@TeaHead Well I just got offered a flowmaster exhaust for 100$ by the local cruiser shop. Im not looking to lower it yet. Also My best friend works for a rim shop.

@ PtModRod Ive driven to Cali Cruiser 3 times now lol. Bob came down and installed my visor for me ^_^.

I agree with Teahead completely. That is the first thing I did to my car. I got the big rims, then lowered it. Made a world of difference. Handles amazingly too because of all of the rubber on the road and the lower stance / less body roll. Even though it may not look like it, the PT has a surprisingly low center of gravity because there is no weight in the roof. people are often surprised to see me passing them on the inside of a turn 10-20 MPH faster than their sport car can take it! As for the Cal Cru thing... I hate you. Not really . But I went through SOOOOOOO much crap for my bumpers that I almost gave up. They were worth it though! I would recommend going with black rims staggered with a one inch difference between the back and front (like 18's and 19's) to give it a more aggressive stance. Your Pt could look good with rims that have a bit of silver detail in them to accent some of the chrome. I am dying to see the finished product because I really like the way you're going with it!

Just a couple of rim ideas:

Enkei LS5

Foose DF-5 B

Giovanna Dalar B

I really like the last set... really unique!

Ooo that last set is pretty haha but I prefer to the second one as it would relate to the gas cap.

Ill get a brochure from my friend and see what is available. I will only get a body kit or anything like that after I get my rims done that way I will know my clearance.

I was tempted to chrome it out at one point but that was too common for the car and I prefer being all black.

@PtModRod thanks for the support ^_^

-Btw CaliCruisers you really have to stay in touch otherwise you will be forgotten. They are a really busy group but he worked with me on prices and everything so I payed in cash.

Yeah, I know what you are saying! I had to call them every day for weeks. I have to agree with you about the chrome. I stayed away from it because it seems like most PT drivers go for that. Didn't really even think about how the second set would work with your gas cap until you mentioned it! I was looking all over for a black PT when I bought mine. At the time, I could not find ANY that I could afford... It sucked, but I went with my second color option. INFERNO RED BABY! My original plan for the car was to make it look almost military with it all satin black and riveted looking (or bolted, like your gas cap.) I guess that still is the plan for my car once it get the money to tear it all down and paint it, but that is years off. I have other stuff I want to do first.

First of all I am trying to keep the vehicle as black as possible.

I am looking into different headlights(JDM Black or carbon fiber), taillights(JDM Black or carbon fiber), and a sun vizor (non drilling version).

Also how hard is it to install new headlights and tail lights? My last car was a 91 mustang and I had replaced both sets and that was pretty easy to figure out.

If there is anything else besides what I mentioned that you want to suggest feel free.

Thanks ahead

Don't know if this is something your looking for the tail lights or headlights, but look around here at http://www.raceandstreet.com

maggie got great deals =)

Headlight Eyebrow thing

trim for headlights. i prefer this one

don't forget if you got a black car with black rims you might lose the shape of your rims and the design of them, i'll try to find a good picture, if you already didn't order some
