'03 Cover kit

Easy question from a noob. I recently brought a new PT Cruiser 2003 used, so I purchased a Cover kit.

However, following the instructions compared to what is actually on the car is different. For starters, on my cruiser, there is 2 large "holes" (whatever you want to call it) on opposite end of the hood


As you can see, it looks like there's a second hole next to the first one (arrow pointing at it) which the instruction diagram indicates that the strap is suppose to go into that hole but it's not a hole??

You mean a "Front End Bra". Don't worry about which hole, or how many holes. Just take the strap and put the hook into either hole or anything else that will keep hold of the hook and then tighten down the strap by pulling on the cord till it's tight. Do that with both straps so the bra is snug.

Suggestion. Don't use the bra all the time. Don't let it get wet. Put a good coat of wax on the front of the car and hood before putting on the bra.
