About the dental floss trick.....
(How dare you use dental floss for such a frivilous deed????)
But, if you do, be sure to buy a thicker dental "tape" so it will withstand the tension created. Regular floss might cut better, but won't last very long.
And, use it in your mouth first...that will create a lot more lubrication!

Plus you get twice the use out of one roll of floss.

Love the two tone paint. My car is stone white. Wonder what would look good with that. Maybe on top...

Hi guys, I finally got into removing the door spears today. I used a couple of plastic putty knives to get things started. Once I got them started I was able to just twist them off. The tape residue was a little tougher. Started with GooGone, then a little brake cleaner. THen comet cleaner to get rid of the stains. Next I'll polish and wax. Looks great. Thanks for the help guys
