Default Headlight Mods

Has anyone done this or thought about modifying the fenders to accomodate minicooper headlights? I know sheetmetal mods would be needed but can you think of anything else? I think it would look so cool. Anyone have photoshop and switch these out to see what it would look like?

Something like that but more modern than old school. I would want to use the original fenders if they would work. I know the minicooper lights sit more straight up and down.

You'd have to build the fenders up like that to accommodate the straight up and down headlights of the Mini. The Cruisers fenders are on too much of a slant.

Looking at pics of the coop and the pt, I can see that it would have to have less of a slope. I think I will take some degree measurements of both and see what might be needed. I still think it would be a slick mod.

That PT was in the "mild" catagory at Myrtle Beach a few years ago. Yeah, right

That's Gary's PT from Florida and it wasn't two tone or had all the mods that he has now.

Myrtle Beach

I know what your saying but there were many PTs that had loads more mods that put them in the "Wild" category. Example:

Instead of the Mini Cooper headlights, have you considered VW Beetle or Mercedes? Both the old and new Beetles have round headlights; the older the Beetle, the smaller they'd be, if that matters to you. Some newer Mercedes have a round light with a bit of back-slope to them (no chrome surrounds though), where the Beetle lights are pretty much vertical. Seems to me like you're in for some bodywork to make 'em fit, no matter WHICH kind you finally chose!

Oh yeah, and: welcome to the forum!
