I have a 2001 PT. Dropped by the dealer just after the warrantee had expired but they did replace the bumpers. I now have the same problem. I did paint the mud guards with Krylon and they have held up pretty good. I was wondering when you painted your bumpers did you sand/use a primer first? Stopped by a body shop today to see about getting them painted. No guarantee that the paint would hold. Also the panels between the doors are terrible. I tried several things to clean. I decided to have them painted.
