That would be your best bet 6000K is brighter than the 8000K so they would be good for the highs

I just put a set of 8000k in my fog lights, mounted the ballasts right to the frame thats exposed where you pull the inner fender back... there are holes in the frame on the driver side to fit the brackets that came with my kit perfectly, and then on the passenger side, i used the existing holes in the frame to relocate the horn and used the body bolt to hold the bottom ballast bracket and horn bracket to the frame, and then the top ballast bracket was held in by the body bolt that holds the fender brace. Looks like it came that way from the factory. Then I zip tied the excess wires and the ballasts to the bracket to make sure they dont come out...

I dont have any flickering issues at all, and they make my sylvania silverstar headlights look like crap lol. Funny thing is, you have the stock bulbs, which look yellowish, and the silverstars are 10 times whiter looking, but then ya turn them fogs on and wow... makes them silverstars look like ass.

For anyone with a problem with the flickering lights i suggest going here

3B Specialties : Home

call the number for patrick because he is awsome and will help you all the way from answering any questions and buying them for you right then and there.

also, the HID headlights for the PT Cruiser 01- present require a special modification which will get rid of the flicker issue. this is the best option right now and with fantastic results. will post pictures and upload vid of the results when i get my camera fixed on friday. i went with the 12k headlights low beams and they are awsome!!!

there is NO cutoff on Hids. the cut off is in the projectors.
adding HiD to normal reflector housings, makes it the equivalent, of driving around with your high beam on all the way.

Hi Ginuwine,

I just got my full conversion kit (6000k highs and 8000k lows). I'll take some photos so we can see the light pattern changes and cut off area both before and after installation and post them here. Might take me a few weeks to get to it though, life is super busy right now.
