Hey Atrus....

Thanks for your help and advice on the xenon sources. My kits are installed and working beautifully (no flicker!). I thought (since I hadn't seen you around in a while) you might be interested to check out my xenon vs. halogen test:

Well I have never seen a law stating that in order to have HIDs you have to have Projectors.... in fact HIDs are an option on the Toyota Prius and they don't have projector housings and they are an option on Volvos.... now this is where the argument comes in that those come from the factory that way so they are legal... but if I had a Prius w/o the HIDs from the factory and added some aftermarket ones later would they be legal or not....

you just need to make sure the kit you buy doesn't say "OFF ROAD USE ONLY" Projectors do create a clean cut off line for lights but I'm blinded by them driving down the road!!! Most people are like bugs they look at the light even though even a car with Halogens you are supposed to look at the line of the road opposite the on coming car till they pass so you are not blinded!!!

A HID kit includes HID bulbs which do not have any filament to produce light but rather the light is produced from a plasma discharge.autoxsport.com offers reasonably priced quality HID products like HID D2C/R/S Kits, HID High/Low kits, D4C/S/R Xenon HID bulbs, and HID conversion kits.

Now on with the questions:
Has anyone used or currently using a HID Conversion kit?
If so what kit did you buy?
What bulbs did you buy?
I have only seen the HID's come in 9006 and not 9006XS I have asked many sellers if those will fit my Cruiser and most say they should but I don't want to spend the money on "they should" if ya know what I mean.
I know I can install them myself, no problem.
I really like the looks of them and this year I want to spruce my up my 2001 Touring Edition I call "Elvis"
Any answers will be appreciated PS I know all about the laws ect....
Thanks
I also have the same questions, until I found this site http://www.blindinghid.com . The site is great and they offer HID conversion kits. Everything you need when it comes to bulbs are there. They even have installation guides. It's really a great site. Just try to check it out. They have lots of good stuff
