Hey Atrus....
Thanks for your help and advice on the xenon sources. My kits are installed and working beautifully (no flicker!). I thought (since I hadn't seen you around in a while) you might be interested to check out my xenon vs. halogen test: Xenon HID vs. Factory Halogen - The test! Tom

Well I have never seen a law stating that in order to have HIDs you have to have Projectors.... in fact HIDs are an option on the Toyota Prius and they don't have projector housings and they are an option on Volvos.... now this is where the argument comes in that those come from the factory that way so they are legal... but if I had a Prius w/o the HIDs from the factory and added some aftermarket ones later would they be legal or not....
you just need to make sure the kit you buy doesn't say "OFF ROAD USE ONLY" Projectors do create a clean cut off line for lights but I'm blinded by them driving down the road!!! Most people are like bugs they look at the light even though even a car with Halogens you are supposed to look at the line of the road opposite the on coming car till they pass so you are not blinded!!! |
