Yeah, it came off

Some stupid meany girl wanting to get her stuff out of my trunk decided she was going to tug on the hatch handle until it ripped off. Only the plastic/chrome looking piece came off, not the whole thing. I can still open the rear door but it looks like crap now.

Looks like the 2 pieces that were holding it on got bent/torn. I'll take pics when it gets later in the day. Anyone know of any fixes??

Someone use to sell a replacement PT piece for the center instead of the Chrysler emblem but I haven't see it around for quite awhile.

I think both pieces are metal so any kind of glue that is good for metal including crazy glue would work. Make sure both pieces are clean before sticking together. Do you have any two-sided 3M tape around, that would work too.

If you find a good solution, I will be pleased. Mine has been a bit loose for a while now and I have had to be really careful with it. One of my friends is, shall we say, "heavy handed" and I know he is going to rip it off soon.

Mine was dangling on there (not dangling, but very loose) for about 2 months. First time I go and see this girl she breaks my stuff...lol, biatch!

I'll try to get it fixed today, btw under that emblem is pure rust

The dealer had to replace the touch piece inside and the tech removed the whole thing. As I was on the shop floor (a no-no) I didn't stick around to long to see how he reattached it.
