Default Yay or Nay?

That Hood Scoop that I didn't want to install got to me yesterday and took some pics to get a few opinions. Please excuse the quality - Taken from the BlackBerry.

Voice your opinions! It's not on my car yet, I just placed it for pics. Of course I'll have it painted Taupe.

Thanks!

You already heard my opinion. Only if you take it to a shop and have it molded into the hood and then everything painted perfectly to match. Other wise it just lok "stuck" on.

One of the new Mustang fastbacks has a large scoop and it's just "stuck" on and it really looks cheap. Maybe it's just me because one of the old Mustang GT's (Shellby ?) had scoops all over it and they just looked like they were an afterthought and glued on all over the place.

Thanks for your opinion, Crewzin. I probably won't install it because of the fact I don't want/need it on there. Not that big of an improvment.

I'm still willing to sell it for the $22 I paid for it.

If you're gonna do it, I'd go closer to the base of the windshield by about 5-6". The base oof the windshield is a high-pressure area when you're moving.

I posted a pic of my red PT with a simular scoop. I wanted a cowling look. People did not like mine either. I think it would look better once painted, but I may not install mine either. I really want the PTeazer hood, but it is very expensive. Maybe we should get a full cowling and mold it in. May cost as much as a new hood though. :-(

What to do...What to do?

As I look at the pictures of the OP, isn't the scoop facing the wrong way?

Not much we can do except to accept the criticism
