Hey, I have an 04 GT with the OE roof racks installed from the factory. Does anyone know if there is a way to take off the cross bars without breaking them? I already have the rear spoiler and don't like the double spoiler look.

THe headliner pull out is not too hard, but requires a day or so to do it. You have to take out everything on the roof and pull in down.
to get it out of the PT you need to bend it in half and slide it out the rear hatch.

I did my head liner a while ago and it was a job for a first time. I rode around with wires handing down and stuff for a day when I didn't get it done the night before.

The rear of the roof rails had end caps with a star screw holding the caps in place. They where also taped to the roof with the original rails. After yanking them until the double sided tape came off. The end caps came off and I was able to remove the cross bars. I still have the rails mounted to the roof but at least I don't have a double spoiler effect anymore As for removing the complete roof rail assembly, I will never tackle that project. I like being able to have it if I need it within 10 minutes. Thanks for everyones suggestions/help.
