Default Chrysler back logo

okay, as every maker of their vehicle's put emblems and stuff on the vehicle so it's noticed as blah blah. now i took off the one in the front because i got a new hood, and then i took off the "pt cruiser" logos and "touring edition" just to make it look different and not like stock, and now, the dilema. the back one is the button to the trunk, so i was wondering is there anyway i could take this off, and have a new trunk button to open it ?

I got a '05 PT cruiser
touring edition

THANKS FOR THE HELP AND INPUT IN ADVANCE!!

Just tug on it. It's bound to come off eventually...Mine did anyway. The emblem comes off as a plastic piece, the metal "handle" actually stays there. So when you do tug it off, your going to have to find something to put over it.

The best thing to do would be to shave the trunk. That way, it would open via a button on a remote or somewhere else on the car. If you do that, you may also want to put in stronger struts so it opens up by itself once the button is pressed. A cheaper way would be to remove the badging as cleanly as possible (not sure but it will either be held on by sticky stuff or by small pegs into the bodywork) then over the place where the handle used to be, make a smooth gloss black rectangle that will fit the exposed part.

The release is on the inside of the "wing".
