I don't get these LEDs for the cupholders. They are prewireed but you need a 12v connector of some sort to keep them running, correct? Or do you just buy them and pretty much they light up without anything giving it power? I would like to install these mini LEDs to my interior but have no idea how to start it all off.....anyone have a guide or a link to help me out, lol. I'm new to this stuff....

With running LED's in cup holders the best way ive seen is making a hole that matches the size of the LED. Having it point away from you so it wont shine in your eyes while driving. But one LED would give you a full glow with a beverage in its location.
I just spliced all my wiring off the cigarette lighter. I can not turn the lights on when the car is off though. You can test turning on LED's with a 9v battery My Car   My Friends Dodge Ram which I also did
