Default Canadian dealers?

Hey all,

I'm looking at some good PT parts and accessories, and I don't mind ordering some of the smaller stuff from the states, but I am looking at a Xenon body kit, and I am concerned about ordering something that larger from the states, especially if I opt to have it painted before shipping.

My question is, does anyone know of some good dealers, parts shops, or custom car places in Alberta or Sask. Maybe even something in Montana or North Dakota? I could drive down to a shop there for quality service and work.

Thanks for any tips.

Scott

I know how u feel Scott. I live in the UK and I want a Xenon Bodykit as well. Nowhere over here seems to stock 'em, so will have to order from Uncle Sam! I'm concerned about getting it painted over there...and the possible condition it may arrive in once it's crossed the pond! <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hi Scott..Kojak from Calgary..got my Xenon ground effects pkg from Pt Cruiserparts.com.."Al"..was very helpful. I have an extra set of side effects that are called "EURO's"..made by Xenon. They are flared a little and finish & drop the side profile about 1.2 inches..nice but I wanted a different look..check my pic..Dave

Well, I'm in the states, sorry, but, I'm the body shop foreman at Earehart Honda, Isuzu, Daewo, Chrysler, and if you order a kit like that be sure and don't order it pre-painted, order it unpainted and have it done by a good body shop around were you live, I have had 3 PT's come into our shop with the Xenon kit on them and they're pelling (paint coming off) and I won't touch them, and the people are just stuck with them, I don't know were they bought them from but your better off buying the kit unpainted and have a shop around you paint them for you incase you have problems with paint pelling, that way you can get them fixed....James

No problem...Hey, Xenon makes some fine body kits and its no fault of theirs if one has a pelling problem its the person that painted it (prep and such) the way you had it done if you have any trouble you have a local to turn to for a answer...be cool, James
