Maybe some wheels would help.
I'm not doggin' on ya here, but why'd you buy it if it looked too "Grandparent-ish"??? There are tons of websites and eBay to look at on customizing your PT.

brightlight07, Welcome to the Forum!!
The PT is like a empty canvas to a painter. My suggestion is to find a PT Cruiser car show near you, go look at what others have done and come home and go to www.raceandstreet.com to buy what you wish and make it your own!! That's what I did. You didn't fill out your profile so we cannot suggest a near by car show. There is one in Myrtle Beach, SC this coming weekend that will have 100+ PT's.

1st I would look around on the web at photos of other PTs
A good place to start is at PT Cruiser BUS at PT Cruiser BUS On the right had side the the page is a list of shows that the club has been to and it has a lot of photos of PT. Then make a list of what you like before you start doing mods to it

Hey their brightlight07,
Grandparent-ish??? Naw man, like the guys were saying...its a blank canvas for you to style in your own way! Their are literally tons of parts, and accessories to make you PT into something great! First things I did to mine were hook up a set of drop springs to close the wheel gap, and tint the windows, and that made a huge difference! Then the Mod Bug took over, and the rest was history! ![]() Here's a couple pix to cheer ya yp! ![]() THIS ON IS MINE: ![]() AND A GOOD FRIEND: ![]() Or, like the guys were saying, maybe add a few mights! That is just what my friend Bruce did! Check it out:The possibilities go on, and on! Their are PT websites, all PT Car Shows, and fans all over the world! Grandparent-ish? Naw man, the fun is just waiting for you! I say....let the Mod's begin! Go easy my man, and we will catcha a little further down the road! Candyman

Welcome Brightlight!
Firstly, I don't think it looks too "grandparent-ish". It's cute. However, I agree with Ucantcme, if you want it to look tight, slap some rims on it and possibly lower it. This will make a dramatic change!
