Default Taller Tires
I'm thinking about putting high profile rear tires on my 2002 cruiser. Has anyone out there tried this? Do you foresee any problems this may cause?

I don't even know what to say. You want to put HIGHER profile tires on? For what reason? Are you talking about doing a -1 application say going from a 16" wheel to a 15 with higher profile tires or are you just thinking of putting larger diameter tires on your existing wheel?

If you are talking about going to a smaller wheel. I did it.
I went to a 15" wheel and really like the look as well as the ride.

I'm talking about putting a larger diameter tires on my existing rear 16" wheels. I saw a picture of a cruiser that had this done and I liked the look.

I wasn't thinking of two different sized wheels just a larger diameter tire on the back. That is a great look you have achieved. Can I ask where you got those smoothies? There beautiful.

You can do it if you don't have ABS. Did you see the one with slicks? Totally useless but looked cool!

It would give that nice fat wheel look the street rods often have. Downside is weight. Go to Discount Tire homepage and research some, they give all the dims such as tread width, section width, diameter, and I think weight. Every pound you add will hurt the ride.
