Which is better? The ones with the 3M tape or the ones with the little metal pieces that slip into the window channels?
Which hold better? I live in the chicago area and the summer heat gets hot here so I don't want the tape to soften and pull from the car while I am driving. |

Mine fit in the windo channel. They were easy to install and can be removed for cleaning or repairs. They do help a lot with the excessive heat you get from the car sitting with all the windows rolled up. And, you don't have to worry if it rains.

IMHO the window channel installation works the best and they are removable if needed for any cleaning or maintenance. I looked at the stick on vents and then went with weather techs.
