Default Painted Bumpers

Has anyone had their bumpers painted in the Seattle, Washington area? If so what was the cost, what shop did it and are you happy with the results? I'm going to get my bumper painted in the near future but would like to use a shop that someone else is satisfied with. Thanks.

I live in Spokane, and know of a great shop, but you shouldn't have any problem finding one in a city the size of Seattle. You can usually tell a quality shop the minute you walk in. Ask some questions as to how they would do it and if they show any sign of hesitation. It can be done, as many other owners have discovered. It takes quite a bit of preparation to get them smooth, and then make sure that they use the correct primers, sealers and flex agents, specifically designed for plastic bumpers. You should probably expect a price of several hundred dollars to have it done correctly. That might sound like a lot, but the cost of materials alone is gonna run $100-$150.

I can't help you with a shop but when you consider the cost of covers I would paint them As Cruzin said you have to ask those questions but I would go a step further by making sure they have done several sets before. The best way to find someone is to go to events and ask the people you see that have had them done and ask where and how much. thats how I found a shop.Mine cost $ 500 for bumpers and mirrors. I drove 50 miles to get mine done just don't take the cheapest price you may be sorry if you do
