Default In Channel Window vent Visor re-fit

I have a set of in-channel window vent visors that I would like to remove and rework for a better fit into the rear windows. Has anyone at the Crew ever done this and if so what did you use to replace the sticky stuff with so that they stay in the window after the removal and re-fit?

Double faced tape from 3M found at most auto stores, maybe even WalMart.

I'm having the same problem, too, right now. My rears appear to be venturing down a bit. One side completely fell off as I was driving So it's temporarily holding with double-sided tape (the white thick foamy one). It looks horrible up close but it can't be seen from a distance. And I did find the 3m auto tape from WalMart, but I just have been lazy lately.

Make sure that you use the 3M paint, wax cleaner first before you use their tape.
