Pat,
As far as I'm concerned...all PRO and 1 CON:
PRO...looks great, PRO...along with some sort of front sunscreen, it keeps the car cooler in hot weather, PRO...sort of hides anything you might have inside when you park it, PRO...helps block the sun when your driving. CON..if you get it too dark, it's hard as heck to see out of at night. When I first had it done, I had the side windows the same darkness as the back windows..and found out I couldn't see out at night so took it back and went one or two shades lighter.

It may depend on which state you live in. For your consideration, in California for example, tinting the front two windows is illegal.<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> You, or others, may not care, but it is important to know before you get it done.

I asked to NOT get tinted windows and got them tinted anyways... This may seem a bit off-topic, but does anyone know how to modify the rear windows to roll all the way down?

Renichms,
Look at your picture...the size of the rear glass on the doors can't possibly fit down into the door because of the wheel well arch. Major modifications would have to be done to the door or the window itself and electric mechanisms to get it to go down all the way.

I got the front tinted to 35, darkest legal in Tennessee, $60. I like the look from outside, the new tint is just a 1/2 shade lighter than the factory tint. I think it gives a more consistent overall look. The only down side I noticed is looking through it at the outside mirrors, I have to look a little closer. But that may be good too, at night the headlights behind me won't be as bright in the side mirrors. Thanks for the replies.

Got mine done for $35.00 (Very Special Deal) LOVE IT !!!!!!
A little hard to see out at night, but they look SOOOOOOOOOOOO
good, it makes up for it. Do check on the laws of the State you live in.
Sorry, the picture is before tinting
