Has anyone considered cutting the back half {oem length etc} and making a Truck rear based off the oem wheel base?
I know you couldnt put anything back there but groceries or golf clubs, but it be cool in my book.. |

That's a high dollar one-off show car from Chrysler and it's running a VIPER V10 powerplant.

Hey Guys,
Here is my fav rendition of the PT Truck. ![]() And I also kinda dig on this rendition of a rat vert pick up conversion. ![]() I would also really love to see someone go all out and take a PT Pick Up stretch it out, and make a full on mini crew cab PT Dually. Their are several V8 conversions that have been done so we can safely say the power plant can fit without too much trouble, so if we could come up with a dually for stability, beef up the suspension, and really make it into a working , usable truck! An interesting thought anyways. You guys go easy, and I will catch ya later. Candyman

the fenders are 8" thick to reach the bed walls being a step side. I did template the outer shape off the front so when you look at it from a side profile, it does match... I plan to use a 1955 chrome Chevy step side bumper. I will shorten it slightly so it isn't as wide as stock, and cover the cuts and welds with bumper guards or something.
