For 20 a pair, it seems like a steal to replace my 2006 stock headlights. Any reviews from anyone? Would they fit? Thanks |

I do realize that this is an old post, but I have a comment on this
I just replaced my headlights with plasmaglow bulbs this year in my 09' PT... 1st-The left bulb kept cutting out, found out, it's overheating & melting my plug,I put my stocks back in & sent the PG's back for warranty replacement. (And yes, I wore gloves & did not touch the glass... I know about finger oils) 2nd-Got the PG's replacements, installed them, within a month the right side started cutting out & overheating and melted the connector. Sent the PG's back again, put the stocks back in & every thing works fine. What good is a 10 year warranty if the bulbs won't last a month. |

It's most likely because the bulbs have a higher output than your stock bulbs, and the OEM headlight harnesses in our cars can't handle the higher output. So the plug probably melted and was shorting out, causing your bulbs to overheat and fail. Overall, as I said earlier, these bulbs are not a good idea.

After days of researching, I went with Sylvania Silverstars (like CREWZIN). The difference is amazing! If I remember correctly, it puts out the same amount of power as the stock bulbs so you don't have to worry about melting your plugs or getting an extra harness to compensate.

Thanks Chris15 & 808, I guess I'm just ass out of $25, because they'll just keep giving me crap bulbs, I don't think I can get a refund.
When my stock bulbs go out I'll try the Sylvania Silverstars (like CREWZIN & 808). money's kinda tight these days. |

After I put the Sylvania's in for the headlights it made the fog lights so dull/yellowish looking, I had to go back and get the same kind for them. Same place, Wal-Mart. Same wattage as original so no problem with melting.
