Default 5 Window Coupe PT

Ive posted the coupe here before so I though I would provide you guys an update.

This is my good friends PT Cruiser project. Just had it painted this last week. Im just posting the front for now till I get a better shot of the rear.

The grill is temporary as he is fabricating one for it this week.

While I admire the craftsmanship, that car just isn't my cup of tea. Sorry.

Everything was made by him! Once I get a shot of the rear you can see all the added detail.

Yup we baked and painted the headlights.

We have two people interested in these kits locally. Should have the first clients car done this week!

That's the color I used on my vanity cover and strut bar.

Looking forward to seeing the grille; hopefully it's vertical grillework (like a '34 Ford grille).

One thing I think this car needs is little nerf bars on either side of the grille; I'm considering adding a PTeazer smoothie bumper and rear roll pan to my 2006, and then adding chrome nerf bars front and rear to both help protect and dress it up - I don't want my car to be so smooth that it looks 'sleek' rather than 'retro.' It's a tough balance with a PT, which already looks like a 'sleeked-up' post-war rod.

I like the 5-window look!
