Help with Rear Step Pad for a 2009
I am looking to see if anyone has tried to fit the rear step pad on a 2009....it is that black ribbed cover for the rear bumper....to protect it from scratching when taking out luggage from the trunk......MOPAR says the part is for 2001-2006.... & they do not make it anymore for the newer series..will it be a problem to install on a newer PT?

No problem, I have put it on our 2006 & the 2008 both. Just be sure you line up the edges equally. On the 2001 - 2995 you had a indentation to line it up with which make it easier to fit it.

BUT!!!!!
I you are picky like me, IT ISN'T A CLEAN FIT! (round peg in a square hole!) I drag my golf clubs and other stuff over the rear bumper all the time. So, I found a customized, great fitting alternative! I roughened the paint in the trimmed area; then went to Line-X and had them spray a bed liner on that area.
