Hey their Rowdy,

Yep, the Antenna, and Antenna Body housing, should be mounted up underneath the fender by a cap nut. Its another one of those things that someone at Chrysler made way too complicated! I had to pull the wheel off, and then pull off the inner fender well to access it.

I did it once to my ride when I was messing around trying to make a home made shorty antenna by heating the little black nipple on top and popping it off, chopping the stock antenna down to 14" and then using a touch of silicon to pop the nipple back on. Worked beautifully, perfect signal, and I got the shorty look without spending a dime!

I think that should do it, but if not, let me know and I will see if I can figure it out for ya.

Go easy,

Candyman

Hey their Rowdy,

Cool deal. Always glad to help.

Oh, I used to drive a Truck long haul for Fed Ex until I got tangled up in a fender bender a few years ago which twisted my back up some, so they went and retired me from the road and got me hopped up on pain pills. Between the meds, an not being able to sleep real comfortable, I kinda dose off here and there. Besides since I have no where to be pretty much indefinitely, I like the quiet at night without the kids, and wife begging for the computer, or to go to the mall, and such. So I sit up messing around with PT stuff at night, and mess around once in a while with a car in the day when I feel up to it.

Here is a pic of me once upon a time with my Volvo 660 and a set of wiggle wagons.

And here is my three month old Truck after my dang driving partner went and accidentally fell asleep at the wheel on me while I was half asleep back in the bunk. He kinda did a number her, and bent her up a bit.

So that's my bit. I'm always up most all night every night just lookin for trouble.

Take er easy, and I'll catch ya later on.
