You got the real thing. I have a 2003 Touring equiped at the factory with the "tuned group" option. It includes (among other things) the chrome side spears, chrome grill, sill plates and chromed fuel door. My fuel door is exactly like yours. Sometimes those parts catalogs are put together well ahead of actual production. Perhaps DC took a stock fuel door and had it plated for the catalog photo, then changed the design or went with a supplier who could make it cheaper?
