Chrome fuel door

Installed the Mopar chrome fuel door. Looks great. Nice finish and fits perfectly. Before and after shots.

in the mopar pt accesories catalouge they show the style line carrying through the chrome fule door. I wonder why they dont sell them that way? lools great though

Two torx head screws. Simple. You should use a torx head socket, 6" extension and rachet. If you don't have a set of drivers, pick one up at Sears. Don't fully tighten the screws until you check the alightnment of the fuel door closed.

This is not the fake one. This fuel door is solid metal, chromed, and it comes complete with a factory hinge. This is not the "stick on" variety that goes over the stock door. This is an actual Mopar part.

What part are you thinking of, punch? I'm curious why you think it's fake.

becuase if you goto the mopar site and look it up, it has the beltline running through it.

also i thought the mopar one's had the new cam style hinge, that is all

OK, I see what you mean.

This one has the same hinge as stock. Exactly.

I don't know what to think now.

I do however like the looks of this one even though it doesn't have the groove.

At $55 it didn't break me to buy it either.
