Where do you get the round fog light shroud/surround? Thinking of adding the aftermarket ones and being able to clean it up seems like good idea.

You know you can do the same thing that I did and make a relay harness to take the load off the MFS? Its quite simple and could even buy it for less than the cost to make it (cost me 29 bucks). Which I'm sure is less than the cost of a replacement MFS.

Glad I read this thread. I never knew all the BS you had to go through for a factory install for a Pt Cruiser without the fog lights.
I was thinking of getting the factory lights but not at such an expense. I had fog lights on my other cars that were not factory but the end result turned out well. I just might have to look at the fuses to see if there is an empty place to add a fuse. Is there one already for fog lights if they were added? Thanks for the info here. Opened my eyes on the subject.

Does the wiring harness have a color code or a wire number system????
Thinking of bypassing the MFS and putting a rocker switch or such.

Hello Guys
I'm thinking to buy MOPAR 82209997 "Fog lamp kit" but I have a concern about programming the new multifunction switch to make lights on from there. The kit paper said has to be programming with a diagnostic STARSACN tool. 06-08 FOG LIGHT KIT ..and I want to know if there is any other option that came with mounting bracket cheaper that the oem. Thanks, RedPT07 |

The picture shows a new multifunction switch. Wonder why it has to be reprogrammed?
