I recently noticed that some of the chrome on one of my PT Cruiser logos on the front fender has started to flake and the black plastic is showing through.
Is there a way this can be repaired or does the emblem have to be replaced? |

Hey their William_F,
I am afraid ol CareyK is right. It can be fixed, but would cost more to fix than replace. Interesting though, the chrome used on the door handles, and emblems is usually really pretty good quality wise, and that is the first one I have at least heard about flaking off. Anyways, Ebay, or a wrecking yard should turn up a new one for ya. Go easy, and hopefully one turns up for ya shortly. ![]() Candyman

I haven't had any trouble finding them, it was just a question of repair/replace.
Seems like since I've been trying really hard to keep the PT in tip top shape, more minor stuff is popping up to keep me annoyed. |
