Plus, too, I was imagining the blackened horizontal parts would match the spokes of the rims. Now that you put up a newly chopped photo in 2D, it appears to match! Now just make it happen in 3D

Original is way better than the rest, however, you should do the blacked out mesh style, with the chrome chrysler emblem in the center

Mine is chromed, as in the factory grill. Still tempted to pull the chrome and paint the background black.

Here's the mesh with the Chrysler emblem, not sure I like it so much:

Here's a mockup of the stock grill if I remove the chrome strips, paint it black, then put the chrome back on:

Don't know how to edit the poll but I'd add this last one in with it. Kind of like the look.

I don't have a good picture of the car at the angle shown above with the top up. Part of the reason I'm liking the black is the same reason I went with black wheels, to offset the black ragtop. Here's a before and after mockup with the grill blacked in like above.

Comments? I like the way the chrome looks like it's floating...

Personally, I prefer the original. The others look like ass in my opinion. What you have looks boss.

I prefer using gas over charcoal, gas is faster, with charcoal you have to plan ahead longer.

I agree with you 03, now torn on which way to go. Maybe I'll pull the chrome off my stock grill and paint it Black Pearl Metallic (the color I'm going to do the top half of the car) and see how that looks. I got a feeling it'll be as nice, if not better than the rest. One thing I do like about the blackened Q style grill is the lower half, and my tube bars on the car now are bent like sh*t from hitting a 5 gallon plastic bucket of hydraulic fluid doing 80 on the highway... at least it save the nose of the car!!!

Some photos of the scene, will take more of the front end when I pull it off...
