I am considering getting the silver vinyl Kit III for my Red PT. Any opinions or comments about PT Woody, the quality, service, support? $500 is a lot of money to plop down on a graphic, so I may need a little convincing. All opinions greatly appreciated.

I looked at that online and thought the design was really good. Now as far as cost, consider this: I have an 89 Shelby Dakota. They no longer make the OEM Decal kits from the dealer, so you are left with one or two people that reproduce them. One guy sells them for like $1100, and one is slightly less.Yes, the truck is nearly completely covered in decals, but the point is that they can be expensive. Another thing to consider is that you should never wax them. One major reason that you see decals peeling is that when people wax their cars, they usually overlap the wax on the edges of the decals, which is bad for them.always mask off the decals when you wax if possible.
The quality of their kit looks good, at least from the pics.

There appears to be a raised edging that covers to edges of the vinyl. Hopefully that may protect the graphic from peeling away due to wax buildup. I had not thought of waxing being an issue. Could paint sealer be a better route? Does it make a difference? Hmmm... Thanks for the comment!!

I'm not sure, but I would ask them specific questions about preserving the decals, average life expectancy, warranty, etc. .

I saw that kit, I like it allot. I wonder how much of a custom air brush paint graphic you can get for $500, you might look at that, as air brushing will be better in the long run. Gary

Turbomangt,
I thought of that as well. I would LOVE to have that same graphic done with some silver Chameleon paint, perhaps with a thin black border. I'll have to check on some paint shops in my area and do some price comparisons.
