How do i take these ugly amber reflectors off??

LOL k i cant believe i didnt think about that, i will next time i PROMISE, i was just in such a rush to get this reflector off.
i think im gonna try IAN PT GT's method, although i think what he meant to say was pry off the access cover not the reflector. lol. anyways wish me luck! hopefully i can find a needle nose plier in my house

ok i just got my needle nose in the turn signal hole, one problem, i couldnt get at the reflector from the hole, the plastic surrounding the access cover was stopping me! ahhh, i give up, i dont have a heat gun or anything to remove it

It seems like a read about a guy that broke the reflector out in pieces. Have you seen that yet? I think he pulled the pieces out through the bulb hole.

yea thats the one i was referring to, i attempted to do that but the needle nose couldnt reach over to get the reflector

Just bake it in the oven at 250 for a little while until you can pry the headlight apart. BE CAREFUL! Dont forget to have some silicon handy to put it back together. Or you can wait aweek and Ill have an imagestation tutorial on how to do it.

You might want to check your state vehicle code first. In most states the yellow reflectors are required. There's no sense in getting a ticket for such a minor thing.

im in toronto canada, i dont think the cops are out lookin for reflectors up here, honestly i dont even think they would know

In order to aviod this, Im going to try and get that silver reflector tape they put on bikes and construction workers. It will still be "clear" and hopefully the cops will leave me alone. [^]
