06 up grille fit on a 01 ?
has anyone tryed fitting an 2006 and up grille on the 2001 pts?
was wondering if it would fit because i see lots of other grilles made for the 06 and up.

For real?? I see more grilles for the earlier models than the later ones. Which particular grille you checking out? I would say for PM Ray from PTeazer and ask how close the fitment is. I think the grille is wider for one of the set year models.

i was checking out this grille on ebay. for an 06 an up. 06 07 08 09 2010 PT CRUISER 3PC Q GRILLE GRILL E&G:eBay Motors (item 300359198505 end time Jan-18-10 06:40:49 PST) yeah looks kinda different shape.

Hey their HawaiianPt,
I haven't done one as of yet, but as I understand it, it should fit without issue. As I have heard though, Ray over at PTeazer has done full conversions between 01 - 08 a few times and should be able to help answer any questions you may have in reference to any fitment issues. In addition, Ron with ODaddyO also should be able to help you out as well. Go easy, and let me know if you need any more information on this one. Candyman

You may be able to make it "fit'. But, it will not ever look right. The bottom corners are not the same.
Check the sellers list here on Cruiser links. There are several grilles for the "01 -'05 that are made to fit.

Eh James, you seen the ones on this site already?
Grilles I think the very last one would look pretty mean since the grille wraps around the front more just like PTChix's one did. Up to you though, even Chromenut made one poll between that Q-Style grille and the Mesh grille. Need your Grill advice Not sure how easy would be for shovum in, lol. Let us know what you decide!
