Default antenna bezel

I bought a chrome antenna bezel but don't know how to remove the oem one? Can anyone help? Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Be sure to try the search feature. It is great to find out just about ANYTHING you need to know.

Otherwise, just ask and someone will surely reply.

BTW, some people have had trouble with the antenna wire falling into the fender after they remove the nut. Mine stayed fairly close to the hole. Just be careful and you won't have any problems.

I just installed my billet chrome antenna and antenna bezel. It looks great. thanks again. I also removed the PT Cruiser lettering. I used 3M adhesive, tar and wax remover. It works great!! Very little elbow grease needed. It was $7.00 for an 8oz can at the local auto store.

I was one of those epople where the cable unclipped itself from the fender and fell into the panel, it was a b***h to fix.

If you leave the antenna attached, holding it holds up the cable. I think the bezel will slip over it?

i changed out the bezel and antena, so i removed all of it.
