In Saginaw where I live there is only one other PT I have seen with flames on it. No one around this area has any PT's that have any customization on them, they might have a little extra chrome but that's it.

Same thing where I live in Dallas and I know we're a way bigger city.

There are tons of PTs running around but I have yet to see one that looks upgraded or customized in any way.

I can see where you're coming from but the reason a lot of people like flameage on the PT is because the of PTs retro design. If one is looking to capture the street rod feel, then flames would be the way to go.

I have seen some done with tribal graphics that looked ok but they just didn't seem to fit the car quite right.

Part of the fun of owning a PT though is in thinking out how to customize it and make it your own. If you can come up with the right mix of graphics, colors, chrome etc, you can have a truly unique ride that will get lots of attention where ever you go.

I'm not real knowledgable on these things but I have ghost flames on my pt and I think its vinyl? It had to be re-aligned when i had to have my front end redone after the crash with the flames on the doors so i assume it is. But i wouldnt go with ghost flames if your looking to stick out. Honestly most people don't even notice them and they dont show up on pics unless it's a real sunny day.

Sticking out, and screaming "hey, I'm here!" are two different things in my book. I personally want to stick out, but in a subtle way. Kind of like: "Did you see that?, Let's go take another look" type of deal, you know?

I have been other places and seen a lot of both flames and different graphics on different PT's. I kind of like the street rod look myself even if it's only a 4 cyl. But besides that I still always lean towards flames. I now after searching alot I think I'm looking more at the ghost flames myself. Ytekapp.. thats kind of the way I wanted the flames to look, really don't notice hardly sometimes but then other times they stick out more. As 05cruizer said "in a subtle way" something that there but doesn't stick out to much, and of course add a little more chrome. 05Cruzier I Know...Yteka99 where in S/E Michigan are you from? Saginaw for me..

I'm technically from walled lake but its easier to say novi area. But ghost flames are great if you want that reaction like "wait did i really just see that?" You'll get lots of people doing double takes.

Yes they are Flame #8 side and hood decals gold/crandberry i took the hood decal and used them on the fenders at the head lights . Click on #8 then click on photos mine is the one in the middle that says hood kit #8 behind headlights. Send Rich an e-mail he's great to work with. rdavis@streamlinedesign.com

What color is your pt ??? On my cranberry pt the flames almost disapeard when you move from side to side the flames shade shift from cran to gold a real cool effect...Sadly my sig pic shows the final end of a great little ride...
