Oh ya, did I forget to mention I'm from So Cal., so you don't have to worry about 'our' cars looking the same from 2500+ miles apart, And My 03 GT did have the same wheels as yours (SakiGT), but the dealer wanted 3k for them, so I requested the stock chrome wheels to be put back on. So your awesome Blue GT is still one of a kind on the East coast, Nice Ride Girl. Have you timed your GT in the 1/4 mile yet? With and W/o the ram style hood? Stew

Hey saki - Take out the rear seats and the spare and you'll gain some time. If you're running an MBC, ease it off the line just a bit before nailing it.DON'T go through the water box or do a burnout.Let the air in your front tires down to like 18-20PSI.You may have to play with it to find the best pressure.I would bet your car will run solid mid-14s with an MBC and being pretty much at Sea Level.Just remember, hit the gas as the next-to-last yellow lamp is starting to go off, and the last yellow lamp is coming on to get a good reaction time.
I'm heading to the track this coming weekend as it's the last weekend they're open.

Ah yes, thank you bigdog.

Never recieved anything from ya. [:I]

Actually I was just ignoring you hoping no one else would buy my hood. I love it. People actually ask if it's stock. [|)]
Hey sakigt: could you take a picture of the underside of your hood? I am curious what it looks like under there. I know . . . I'm snoopy.
goto Suncoast creations website they have pictures of the underside, aslo they are selling of used stock, they have hoods that need to be repainted or repaired chep.

Yes...discontinue it....

Sweet TripleJack. Im nervous sorta. Its 20 bucks for unlimited runs and depending on the # of people I should get about 10 runs in. Seats in/out, tire pressue, boost, auto/autostick, traction on/off...the possibilities are endless! [B)]

Just make sure that you right down which combination you use for each run, that way you will be able to look back later and see what works best for you.I always just right it on the back of the time slip.Don't be nervous.no-one is perfect. The first time I ran my reaction time was like 2.5 seconds, lol!I was sitting there staring at the green light.Anywho,I guess I'm off topic, but let me know how it goes!
Oh, and a neat little trick to see a big drop in your ET is between rounds, get about two bags of ice from the concession stand.Open the hood and just pack it anywhere you can on top of the engine, the intake, valve cover, and anywhere else you can.Let the car sit there for about 30-45 minutes, which will give the ice time to melt and evaporate. They don't wanna see water dripping from your car on the track at all. When you get ready to stage, start the car up and drive it right to the staging lanes, then turn it off while you wait. The idea is that you want to keep it cool, so don't letr it sit there and idle.Anyway, this usually gives me at least another 2-tenths off of my time.

Good luck!
