I've had the stick on horizontal strips on my 2001 since they came out. I've only had to replace them once, and I did it just because it is such a cheap mod. (I think around $20 on ebay, and they are all precut and have tape on the back so they won't take long to put on and they won't be crooked.) They don't injure the paint at all and can come off very easily but stay on for as long as you want. In my opinion it is the best looking and cheapest mod that can be done.

This also was my first mod on my '09 Cruiser. I ordered the chrome strips and she looks good. I want to get flat side trim vice the spears with a fuel door. and inexpensive, but decent rims.

I bought 40 feet of stick-on u-track and trimmed it myself. It looks good if you don't look too closely, but I am not happy with the ends. Also, my stuff came with an adhesive bead in it that didn't work all that well, particularly on the first 3 slats of the upper grille, which get hotter than the lower parts. I'm going to try some chrome painted end caps on them to see if that improves things.

I'd rather have had the snap-on overlays, but money is too tight.

I think thats hideous personally, but i suppose i can see how someone who likes that front style enjoys it. Looks like fancy chicken wire to me.

I dig the grille, but it retails for $800+ on CMS. Luxury status and must be hard to clean.
